DIN Application

DIN has been introduced in India through the Companies Amendment Act, 2006. Whenever the director wants to be appointed on the board of the company and any person wants to be appointed as a nominee partner in the LLP he has to apply for the same. DIN is the abbreviation for Director Identification Number. It is a unique 8 digit number which is required for a person who wants to become a director in a company or a designated partner in an LLP.
